About Fort Worth Stockyards
Once the last sign of civilization before heading into the Wild West, the Fort Worth Stockyards has been welcoming guests since 1866. Today, the Fort Worth Stockyards celebrates its past with twice daily cattle drives, shopping, eating, and tours. Visitors can find some of the best steak, BBQ, and Tex-Mex in the Stockyards as well international cuisine. Dr. Staffel’s out-of-town patients who are looking for the perfect Texas souvenier can check the 45 retail stores of the Stockyard that can’t be found anywhere else. For fun, guests can take line dancing lessons at Billy Bob’s Texas, the world’s largest honky tonk, watch the Stockyards Championship Rodeo, drink local, hand-crafted wine at Cowtown Winery, learn at the Stockyards Museum, or create their own Stockyard adventure.
